Write to us
One person reads this. Not a queue, not a bot with a ticket number. Say what happened and
what you expected instead, and if it was on the course tell us the club and the hole —
that is usually enough to find it.
we would rather have a scrappy message today than a tidy one next week
Report a course error
A wrong yardage is nearly always wrong geometry, and geometry is fixable in about a minute.
Two routes:
- Fix it yourself. Open the tagger from the hole you are standing on,
walk to the spot that is wrong — the green centre, the front edge, the near lip of
the bunker — and tap. Your correction is live on your next shot and helps everyone
else who plays there.
- Tell us instead. If you would rather not, send the course, the hole,
what Looper said and what it should have said, using the form on this page. Include how
you know the right number — laser, sprinkler head, the card — because that
tells us how much to trust it.
"148 said, 132 lasered, 7th green centre" is a perfect report

George is silent
Almost always the phone’s audio route. Check the sound is going to the earbuds
or glasses and not the handset, that the phone is not on silent, and that the round is
actually open rather than a page you left behind. If the voice is off in settings the
app will still show you every number.
The distance jumps around
That is GPS, not Looper. Stand still for a couple of seconds before you read the
number, and expect it to be poorer under trees, in a valley or beside a clubhouse
wall. Phone GPS is good to roughly ±5 yards in the open.
My course is not listed
Search the club’s full name first — a lot of UK courses are in there
under the formal name. If it genuinely is not, import the outline and tag it; nine
holes on a quiet evening will do the lot, and it stays done.
I want my money back
We do not refund part periods as a matter of course — that is in the
terms. If Looper actually broke on you, say when and we will
sort it out. If you bought inside an app store, the refund has to go through that
store.
Delete everything you hold on me
You do not need us: it is a button on your account page, and
it removes your email, passkeys, saved courses and rounds. The
privacy policy sets out exactly what goes and what has to
stay.
